Jacqueline earned her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2022, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Criminal Procedures II and served as a student attorney in the Veterans Legal Advocacy Clinic. Her legal training is grounded in litigation, motion practice, and client-centered representation.

At Santanna Law, Jacqueline drafts a wide range of immigration pleadings, including habeas corpus motions and requests for emergency relief, and advocates for clients in high-stakes matters requiring strategic and timely action. Her prior experience includes criminal defense and family law litigation, giving her a well-rounded understanding of issues that often intersect with immigration cases.

 

Jacqueline’s background includes experience with the Solano County District Attorney’s Office, the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office, and California Superior Courts, providing her with valuable insight into the criminal justice system and its impact on immigration consequences. She began her legal career working in record clearance and reentry advocacy, assisting underserved communities with post-conviction relief and legal reintegration.
