Paloma Barreiro, Esq.
Paloma Barreiro, Esq. is a licensed Texas Attorney who moved to Oakland, California from McAllen, Texas, a South Texas border town. Growing up in a primarily Latino border town, Paloma was forced to witness the realities, and at times injustices, of Immigration. Paloma vowed from an early age to go to law school and be in a position to personally make a difference. As a daughter of a Mexican migrant worker, Paloma is devoted to being a voice for others to achieve their American Dream.
Paloma received a Juris Doctorate degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. During her practice in Texas, Paloma handled a variety of cases, namely, cases relating to State and Federal Criminal Defense, Family Law, Property Law, and Immigration Law.
Before law school, Paloma received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. Her Senior Thesis was devoted to Legalizing Same-Sex Marriage in Texas before it became legal throughout the United States. Paloma is passionate about equal opportunity and fighting for justice.
Paloma plans to take the California Bar in the future to expand her ability to help those in need with the law.
